Security

Protection, specified

A building's records deserve better than a wide-open share drive. Here is how Hivebase protects yours.

AES-256 / TLS

Encrypted everywhere

Files are encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or newer and at rest with AES-256. That covers every document, every thumbnail, and every backup copy.

MFA

Two-factor authentication

Every account can turn on two-factor authentication, adding a second check before anyone touches the archive.

RBAC

Role-based access

Roles decide who sees which projects and what they can do there. A viewer stays a viewer; permissions follow the person, not the folder.

HIBP

Compromised-password checks

Passwords are checked against known breach lists, so a credential leaked somewhere else cannot quietly open your archive.

AUDIT

Audit logging

Detailed audit logging covers document changes across the archive, so you can always answer who did what, and when.

STATUS

Transparent uptime

Current and historical availability is public at status.hivebase.com.
